I’d love to contribute code to Lamer News, but I don’t Ruby know unfortunately.

Maybe this is my opportunity to learn it. At least how to use hashmaps and conditionals. ;-)

Would it possible and reasonable to ban most popular link shorteners (e.g. goo.gl, bit.ly, is.gd, etc.) too, since it is not permitted to use them in the first place?

First of all: This site is about JavaScript only. Second, do not use a link shortener. Always use the full URL!

Looking at the submissions of @Thaslim one may think that this is another spam account…

Yeah, I didn’t think of race conditions and stuff like that. Seems reasonable to me. Thank you for clarifying this.

Quote from README.md:

  > cannot do debug logging using console.log.

I’m actually interested if anyone had been in this situation.

AFAIK the YouTube app comes pre-installed on iOS and android, which is able to remote control my YouTube account. What is the advantage of this project?

The API looks nice. But the class names of the HTML templates are a bit too generic IMHO.

Hello @remotesynth,

I enjoyed reading your article about that library. But it really offends me that the developer(s) are using false advertisement and thus trick people into using their script.
