A couple of comments/issues:
* When zoomed in, (decimal) download counts less than 1 have an 'm' suffix (e.g. '900m', '800m', '700m', etc.) which seems like a bug, since an 'm' suffix typically indicates 'million'
* The "box" styling of the "map" at the bottom of the page looks like it should be reversed such that the portion being viewed up top is enclosed in a box in the bottom "map"
Thanks for the great suggestions! Especially the box styling, makes a lot of sense, not very easy to change right now but I'll add that to my issue tracker
Could I trouble you to recommend a suitable package to reproduce the 'm' suffixes?
It took a few years but npm is finally tracking download counts for scoped packages (here's the long running github issue if anyone's interested https://github.com/npm/download-counts/issues/23#issuecomment-294016319), we now have 1 month of stats, enough to make cool charts 😄
This site/tool was made in Vue btw (v1, haven't gotten around to migrating to v2 yet)
