I went from making dumb troll posts to legitimately enjoying the site very quickly: good content, effective mods, and sharp users quick to either add useful addendum or call out what doesn't belong.  Keep up the great work!

This place is great for JavaScript related news, but why doesn't it work on top of Node.js? That would make everything deliciusly complete...
