Wow...reading this made me dumber. (As if that's possible, hah!) I read the whole thing waiting for some sort of insight or at least evidence of thought, but in vain. Why publish this?

I found it needlessly long and boring, but the title is not clickbait, it is a legitimate question many people are asking themselves, and _there was_ an insight - namely it's npm's problem, they need to change the way "unpublish" works
