If you're looking to switch away from Octopress, you could also try Hexo : http://zespia.tw/hexo/

I did the switch a few weeks ago and it has been a joy to use. Basically, you can just copy your Octopress content and it should work almost out of the box.

Funnily enough I have just started using hexo too, it looks very good
