Its a nice and simple solution. More elaborate matching can be achieved using soundex matching (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soundex) and other forms of indexing including word 
 embedding (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Word_embedding) which will also find synonyms and other related topics.
