"More readable". According to whom? By what metric? It is entirely subjective. 

As much as I actually totally agree with this article, unfortunately claims like this do it a disservice by giving it that flavour of smug arrogance that functional programmers are infamous for. There are few absolutes in aoftware, anyone trying to sell you an absolute is probably wrong.

I thought it was a good introduction to a functional style of JS, the title didn't really bother me to be honest.
