Despite the fact that Knwl.js is far from being a ‘new’ library, it still bothers me, that it is advertised as a ‘natural language parser’ when it clearly isn’t. The library uses a set of predefined regular expressions.

I understand your point regarding the natural language parser aspect. Though the core does appear to parse the text, the plugins do appear to use preset regular expressions to pull matches. At this point, it feels somewhat inflexible...which I discuss in the article.

I updated the post to reflect that knwl is not "new." The post was just intended to be a fun experiment.

I enjoyed reading your article about that library. But it really offends me that the developer(s) are using false advertisement and thus trick people into using their script.
