I also agree that Backbone is not "complete" by itself, and using other libraries working with it would make the programmer write less code, and it also can increase (but not explode) the size of the app, but complexity ? This other libs are designed to work with Backbone, the programmer don't need to build adapters and things like this to use it, the complexity remains the same, I guess.
Man, I couldn't agree more! I really hope that EchoJS turns into a real community, with people discussing projects, creating projects together, discovering new tools, libs and so on.
JavaScript is in the highlights more than ever because of Node, and libs like Angular and React, build a real community around JS developers would be great, but if people don't try to interact it will never happen...
That's exactly why I posted this question, it's rare when I find some post to discuss about here, but I think it's a matter of "culture", if the culture of discussing born here, I think it would be even better !
