I’ve discovered it 573 days ago on http://dailyjs.com/2011/12/05/echo-brid/.
It took a while before I was a heavy user, but nowadays, EchoJS is my most visited site. (On desktop and mobile.)
I like the way, how EchoJS is saving up voted news for reading them later and I also agree, that the UI/UX of voting/saving has to be improved.
Suggestion:
Instead of voting news, let users “star” respectively “unstar” them (like repositories on GitHub) and list starred news on the users profile.

@tane.piper: IMHO, I don’t think that it’s a good idea to use HTML encoded opening curly braces ({), since it’s hard to read for new team members and Angular.js beginners and it is a maintainers nightmare ;)
