There could be two reasons for this. Either, someone downvoted one or many of your posts, or there’s a bug in [Lamernews](https://github.com/antirez/lamernews).

If everyone, who can’t handle the command line, would stay away from it, then no one could learn how to handle it.

At the moment of writing, no one has upvoted this news. Since “1 up” is the default for every news.

Beside that, I generally like Crockford’s conventions, but I think his whitespace rules are bollocks…
