The video shows 3d version of ngraph (ngraph.three) vs all other libraries rendering in 2d. 

I'm currently porting more vivagraph bits into corresponding ngraph modules. So, ngraph will be at least as fast as vivagraph very soon.

Yes, recommendations are based on shared number of stargazers between two projects. I'm using Sørensen–Dice coefficient to find similarity coefficient between two projects.
