I don't think this should belong here, even with all the disclaimers.

Apparently unpopular opinion: Tailwind is way more broken than CSS.

The web is riddled with articles that try to cover Tailwind's shortcomings. Many of them end up reinventing parts of CSS.

I mean, "cascade BAD" but this is GOOD? Yeah whatever.

It's the same old story for "atomic" CSS frameworks: if you want to create a good style, you *have* to learn CSS. There's no escape. Tailwind merely illudes you that you don't have to.

And it's another cognitive layer on top of CSS.

I am not jesting, by the way. As a CSS lover, I struggle to find a reason for Tailwind: any advantage is overwhelmed by the disavantages, especially in the long term.

But, if the stack is already decided, just ignore what I said 👀
